My Why

My passion for nutrition began as a personal journey. With a family history of diabetes and heart disease, I wanted to understand how food and lifestyle truly influence health and how to use that knowledge to make a difference. Later, when my son was diagnosed with food allergies, I became even more determined to help others navigate similar challenges with confidence and clarity.

My work with the WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) program also deeply shaped my perspective as a dietitian. Supporting families through WIC gave me a firsthand understanding of the barriers many face when accessing nutritious food. I’m passionate about helping individuals and families who are food insecure connect with community resources and learn how to eat well on a budget. I believe that everyone deserves access to nutritious, affordable food and I strive to make healthy eating realistic for all.

These experiences shaped my mission: to empower others to take charge of their health, prevent disease when possible, and live well with chronic conditions when they arise.

If you’re ready to feel your best, I’d love to partner with you on your journey toward better health!
